What is the Christian Crisis Support Network?

The program is a multi-faceted approach to support local small businesses while also honoring those who have dedicated themselves on the front lines of community assistance during the pandemic. Northern Colorado churches, religious charities, individuals and other non-profits have banded together to fund financial relief for small businesses that are dependent on our local economy. The contributions are used to purchase multiple Gift Cards from various shops, restaurants, service providers and merchants, which generates much needed cash flow during the stay-at-home period. The gift cards are then distributed through the churches into the community, prioritizing first responders, medical workers, employees of other businesses that have stayed open, and others that have been severely impacted by COVID -19. Once the economy revives the gift cards will be redeemed, helping to stimulate economic activity at the establishments that received the relief.

These efforts are coordinated by SERVE 6.8, a local non-profit group that facilitates and distributes relief through the Northern Colorado Christian Relief Network. During this crisis much help is needed and the Business Support Fund is doing what it can to help our local small businesses survive. Your financial assistance, given through your church or through SERVE 6.8, would be greatly appreciated. In addition, if you know of a business that relies on local support and needs help, please nominate them to be contacted. See the “Nominate” section of the website for further information.

Business Relief Fund Impact

Thank you to all our generous supporters that helps us raise over $115,000 for the Business Relief Fund for businesses impacted by Coronavirus.

We were able to provide $1000 to 115 business owners across Fort Collins, Loveland, Windsor, and Wellington. Twelve churches participated in supporting this fund, helped connect businesses to assistance, and distributed the gift card vouchers to the community to create more traffic for businesses as they re-open.
